I don't see the point of sacking Benitez now if they didn't have a specific appointment in mind. They were on a horrific run but no way would he have taken them down and after going against the fans to appoint him in the first place it seems odd to bin him first sign of trouble.

May as well just give it to Dunc for the season now.
We got 3 points from 39, he fully deserved the sack. The football was awful, his tactics ****e, and we couldn’t even defend a set piece anymore after having one of the best records in the league last season. It was toxic with the fans & the Norwich defeat was the last straw. You say he wouldn’t have taken us down, but he did just that at Newcastle. Well rid.

If whoever comes in gets relegated though it shouldn't necessarily mean "immediately sack him".

Relegation for a club like Everton would be a ****ing disaster. I don't know how much of their ongoing costs are tied into Premier league TV deals and sponsorships, but a lot of that revenue would dry up if they dropped. They've also then got players on big wages who would either be looking for the exit, or would be shipped out to save costs.

I know they've got Moshiri and Usmanov backing them, but you wonder how much more of their dough they'd want to plough into a championship side. One thing I'm glad of is that those two are nowhere near my club anymore. It's been a ****ing disaster for Everton since they came in.

I think Everton will be ok for the same reason nufc still have a chance and it's that there's 3 other absolutely useless sides at the bottom.

Yeah it all comes down to who's more **** now. Luckily for Everton they have Burnley, Watford who look certain for the drop.

The other one to go could be anyone of You, Everton, Norwich, Leeds. But I reckon Brentford could be the team that joins them as they are in freefall atm

Everton would be the funniest one though <ok>

There's no way Everton finish below two of the bottom four. Not happening.

It'll be interesting should they lose to us on the 8th. I've seen that unrest and protests cause problems at the time when the players need support.

I think they'll be ok, but if they have a bad February then I might reconsider that view

Yeah I think you will too.

I think it will be either Norwich or Brentford who join Burnley and Watford.

Brentford are the logical choice tbh. Remind me og Blackpool when they came up

i mean he says it as you like to hear it really, not how it is, he's serially wrong on almost every point. i bet there's a compilation of it. they've got that bald scouse guy on there now and again and he's a ****ing moron.

I do like Saunders tho

you know something will definitely happen whenever Jordan goes "da will neva eva eva happin"

Lamps is gonna get it then, the derbys will be ****ing class to watch tbh.
