They put him in a headlock.

He admitted assault at court.

How can you argue that isn't assault?
You are getting confused between Lewis Hughes who got a suspended sentence after admitting assault and Jonathan Chew who got 8 weeks for "intending to cause harassment, alarm or distress".

Pumpy is a spastic , he/she would rather lock up Tommy Robertson for causing Muslim *****philes alarm and distress by filming them enter court than lock up the rapists .

2 Rowdy idiots take a selfy with Dr Doom and he's happy to throw them in prison.

Throwing milkshakes at Farage is hilariously funny though and not assault.

20's isn't necessarily incorrect. The apostrophe is generally considered to avoid confusion with mathematical representation.

20’s” is incorrect in this circumstance. This is a noun plural not a possessive or a contraction. It would be acceptable to put “’20s” if this were a reference to a year because the century part of the date had been omitted. If you meant to indicate that the years belonged to the twenties then “20s’” would have been correct.

Are you a greengrocer by trade? You could go to the foot of your apple’s and pear’s. It would be okay to have a butcher’s. <laugh>

Reactions: HRH Custard VC
Today Boris was on a visit to North Wales, being as far away from Westminster as possible as he could go in case Sue Gray’s Report was released.

At the same time, the leader of the Opposition, Metropolitan Elite Remainer Sir Keir Starmer was on a visit to Grimsby, a seat that Labour lost to the Conservatives in 2019 because Boris said he would Get Brexit Done while Corbyn and Starmer dithered, ignoring the views of their core Northern voters. Grimsby voted over 70 per cent Leave in 2016 and Labour expected them to hang on to their Angela Rayner lite MP.

It was amusing to see Starmer on the local news visiting a micro brewery (presumably not to sample any of their wares) to tell how Labour was going to do a better job of “levelling up” than Boris. He just neglected to use the correct title: “levelling down”. As Boris is planning on harvesting a Magic Money Forest to turn the whole North Sea into a wind farm and Grimsby and Hull are both betting everything on the wind farm service industry, Labour needs to get planting some more Magic Money Trees to stay in the race to oblivion.

Tim Stanley made an interesting comment recently
He was talking to Nigel Farage about Boris being highjacked by Carrie
Tim said that Boris is very patriotic
He wants the UK to be leaders and if the west are going over the cliff on climate change madness he wants the UK to go first

Does Sir Barrington Womble ever actually contribute anything worthwhile or is it all regurgitated Tweets from the same half dozen imbecile accounts on Twitter?

No idea, the wonders of this site mean that putting one of drongo's names on ignore, blocks all of them. :emoticon-0100-smile

Believe it or not, the dopey sod claims to have most people on here on ignore, and knows most on here have him on ignore, which makes him look as ridiculous and pointless as he surely is. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

But that wasn't what you said was it? You said that 20's was incorrect in every circumstance. What I am saying is that when used in a purely mathematical context then it may well be acceptable. Pity Brexiteers are not always as keen to use correct English.
