If you say so you old Neo-Liberal, you. I’ve always been honest with my past mistaken political beliefs and feel comfortable where I am now thanks……whereas I think you’re probably still on that journey
Wills along with many others I stopped listening to LBC when they had a cull of the best presenters. It’s now the James O Brien anti Brexit show. You should mention the poll that was on Twitter recently where Starmer got a low figure from Labour voters who thought he was bland and boring. there are polls and like the Trump/Tory/Brexit ones, can be completely wrong. For you a cake maybe the highlight of politics but for many others there are more important things happening.
Im not disagreeing with this at all…….but hopefully some of those “new supporters” might wake up. But I still feel……him having a party really isn’t that important
Ok Wills……you win…..along with Trump and Trans rights….its the first thing most working people think of and is of extreme importance to them
James O Brien and Lawrence Fox are complete opposites of the political spectrum but have the fact that they are both total ****s in common
Like it’s been explained a party isn’t important, a government that implements rules and absolutely piss all over them whilst others miss saying goodbye to loved ones.. yeah that’s taking the piss a bit too much for a lot.
I might buy a cake for my Mrs upcoming birthday. I will get them to deliver it to her at work so she can enjoy with her team. I will tell her not to enjoy it though… just in case.
to be honest, if we're going to blame putin for all the rogue happenings from russian mercenaries in other countries, then i'm going to have to blame boris for his rogue ministers having a jolly
think there are different shades of grey here staines. Have you ever paid in cash so that a business can avoid tax/VAT? You've probably helped fraud and in doing so you're no better than the billions doled out in tax fraud. Likewise have you ever called chelsea, chavski, called Roman abramovic a russian (insert insult). That's got to be in the racism scale of some sort (is xenophobia and racism the same?)?
OK then Stainesy, let's nail this shall we? Your political name-calling does bug me, as I'm sure you realise, which would be why you continue with it. It's a mild form of bullying. ADJECTIVE neo-liberal (adjective) Favouring policies that promote free-market capitalism, deregulation, and reduction in government spending. I don't believe in untrammelled free-market capitalism, quite the opposite. I believe that markets should be highly regulated and that natural monopolies should be state-owned. I don't believe in deregulation. Workers' rights, animal rights and the environment should all continue to be protected by law. I don't believe in reducing government spending. I favour high taxation and high government spending - a bigger state, not a smaller one. Oh, and I'm not middle class, I don't go to Pret and I hate coffee. I'm a sensitive soul, aren't I?
Agree with you Bobby…..and of course I’m happy to admit to my hypocrisy. Whereas some like to take the moral high ground. And of course….”Everyone’s a little bit racist”
I’m comfortable where I sit mate. No protest from me…..just wish all in here were so honest about their political journey and where they really stand.
Anyone who thinks all this current farce is just over a cake must be very stupid. It would be great to concentrate on the current situations like the constant rises in costs of living, the impending national jnsurance hike etc but unfortunately the government of the day has brought all this upon themselves.
Of course. We need a government that can concentrate on all the important issues facing the country. This government can't with its current leader. Get rid. I see Rees-Mogg is saying that there would have to be a GE if Johnson is deposed by the Tory party. Quite right.
