I suppose it's just habit. In tins, I drink Lidl's own. It's decent Pilsner and very reasonably priced at £2.90 for four cans.Out of curiosity, do you always drink Carling/lager or do you ever get a hankering for ale?
If you were eating a hearty steak pie, would you still reach for the Carling?
Going to university in Birmingham put me off bitter for life. I drank bitter before I went there. Ansells and M&B were like drinking poison. If I can get Leeds Tetley or Thwaites, I'll have a pint of that now and again, but neither are common in Warrington. They did sell Thwaites in the Grange, but it's changed now and I hardly ever go in anyway.. Sometimes have a Morretti (Cheese) or Peroni (not in the Cheese) rather than Carling
The winning team takes the kitty ad gets a free drink each. Mine was Moretti while it was free
