Anyway, @luvgonzo

You ever come across Bembe Segue. There's an album called The Politik, by Marc de clive lowe which is a proper listening album, you know one of those that works as a soundscape.

Anyway, Bembe got a beautiful voice :emoticon-0152-heart

I find the stuff you like interesting as it's different from what is usually go for. I don't love that at all but there's something there I kinda like.

The stuff she's done was all heavily rooted in that nu soul, broken beat, dance, scene.

It's her voice though, pure soul.

Like that one more.

I'll take that lol.

Did you ever come across this album by Mission ? They changed their name to the Crown City Rockers later. It was an early 2000's bay area hip hop album, but with a really eclectic line up of Japanese keyboard player, multi ethnic line up etc. It went under the radar big time, but imo it's a hip hop classic.

Another listening album, the whole thing is a story.

Heavily features a Fender Rhodes, my favourite instrument so that makes it even better <bubbly>
