Went out with me missus tonight. Planned on an early night, a lad said howay the toon. It’s fair to say I beat him at doubles whilst also pulling him a 3/10. Cmon the lads.
 
Just watched the match and fantastic team effort with some outstanding performances from Schar, Willock, Fraser, Trippier and dare I say it Lacelles and even Shelvey and Dummett.I thought Wood was unlucky and played his part, late on in the first half he got 2 frees against him in the box, neither was a foul imho, he's just a big man and defenders can't knock him off the ball, doesn't help when they dive. As for ASM what can you say, frustrating and fantastic at the same time, great outlet yesterday especially late on but tending to go down too easily and stay down when we need him on his feet tracking back but his efforts did help us get over the line, onwards and upwards.

Should have been a penalty on him. He had his feet clipped. Ref gave him nothing all game.

But there wasn’t a bad performance yesterday and that’s important. You could see the effort was there.

Howe got it spot on and it’s s very good result at s very good time.
