Nah - Bono is a ****. Early stuff was great, but being big in America really went to his head
I have every album they have done and I really struggle with anything post rattle and hum
Went to see them the last time they were here and it's one of the best concert's I've ever been to
Most expensive night out I have ever had
Other than getting married too

I saw them at Milton Keynes Bowl in '85 on Unforgettable Fire tour, and at Wembley in '87 on Joshua Tree tour - both great gigs. Saw them at Hampden a few years ago and I could easily got on stage and rammed Bonos' mic right up.his pontificating arse, as could most of the crowd. People were pelting him with beer everytime he started spouting off! Best part of the night was Black Rebel Motorcyle Club - they were great - Interpol were good too!

I always wondered what it was that Meatloaf would not do for love. Guess I will never know now

Meat Loaf: What exactly is it that the singer would not do for love?

It's one of the greatest rock music mysteries of all time. What would Meat Loaf not do for love?

The late US singer's Grammy-winning power ballad I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) blustered its way to the top of the charts in 1993.

Over 12 minutes of Wagnerian melodramatics, he repeated that guarantee no less that 30 times - but fans have long been confused about what it was he wouldn't do.....

RIP Meatloaf.
Another huge talent gone!

Fantastic voice. Try getting some of those high tenor notes!!
Just listened to the Bat Out Of Hell album in tribute.
Outstanding.

Too many going now.

Not saying this is the case with Chumbawamba, but I think that many bands have got one good (or if they are lucky, great) album in them and the rest is dross. Quite a few writers the same, and film directors. Actors, because they are using others peoples stuff, can do more great things if they have the talent and choose the right jobs.

Anybody who produces more than a couple of stand out things which are not simply repetitions of their first effort deserves huge respect.

Queen.
