One last note on Ehab, in his sign off statement, he mentioned that Acun needed to build a relationship back with the fans. If he & his old man hadn’t ****ed up everything in the first place, they could have been the one’s getting applauded & spoken highly of.
It just goes to show, they never understood football, & were never in it for anything other than themselves.
If they’d had an ounce of thought with regards to the club & the fan base, they’d have been one of the greatest owners of all time.
They didn’t, they’re not!

The ramblings of old man Allam confirmed beyond all reasonable doubt that he was a ****, is a **** and always will be a ****

And as for Ehab saying that Acun will have to build up relations with the fans - that just confirms what a thick **** Ehab is - that was job done the second Acun took over - no more building necessary

after all this time neither of them get it - they are still deluded enough to think they were right and the fans were wrong

Two ****s out, one Acun in - fantastic start to new year

I am not listening to these final old man ramblings, however, I did hear by accident one small clip when he said he had no regrets about trying to change the name. This just sums up what these people are, what he is really saying, I enjoyed causing divisions among the faithful, so yes I have no regrets. Whether they privately think it was a wrong decision or not, they were never going to admit it.

They are history now, and I for one will not mention them again.

On a more positive note, even coming on this forum has a different feeling, finally, the gloom has been lifted, the clouds have gone and it's a beautiful sunny day.
Exactly my opinion too John.
I haven’t heard any of the interview and might have listened in a quiet moment until I read that bit too.
Not just stubborn to the end, he’s even stubborn after the end!
Anyway they’re irrelevant now so we can move on.

I think Ehab saved Hull City from his father and Steve Bruce. This might not be popular but it is my genuine belief.

The past is past and cannot be undone. I'm pleased I played a part in saving our name and being able to hand on our heritage to someone who understands football, its supporters and our joint traditions.

**** this. Thread locked until people find something else to squabble about.

It may well not last, but right now, these are the GOOD days.

EDIT. Unlocked. If it gets silly again, I'll just delete any squabbles, so please don't waste yours and everyone elses time.

You can lock threads whenever you want as long as you leave the forum for those who just want to watch good squabbles.

Do we know who the person next to Acun is ?
Tan Kesler stood up.
That is Merthan Açil - ex professional footballer who played for a few Turkish clubs. I think his wife is the sister of Acun’s ex wife too. I might be wrong but would assume he is one of the 4 who will be running the club day to day alongside Tan Kesler, Jim Rodwell and another.

The more time has gone on the more I have believed this to be the case. I start to get the feeling Ehab, although possessing a petulant streak, would probably have found reason if left to it on his own but got caught between a turd burger and a **** sandwich so the easiest option was to do nothing and let everything calm down.

Life is like a turd burger and **** sandwich, the more bread you have the less **** you eat. :emoticon-0100-smile
