No, it’s not his channel. These deals are not confirmed yet. I think we’ll have some strong signs around tomorrow noon.

Maybe this is a new strategy.... instead of buying from the lower English leagues and selling on... but from European leagues and do the same...

Sayyamanesh, Pesic and a rejuvenated Eaves will give us enough firepower to stay in and move up the Championship table.

If this is the limited January signings then I can’t wait for the summer! :emoticon-0137-clapp

Excited by the potential new signings but it's an odd situation with the manager chasing Regan Slater and the owner and his team looking around Europe. Does McCann know anything about the players potentially coming into the club and does he want them? We need strikers but McCann will have a clear idea of the players and the types of characters he wants to bring in. Is he even talking to Acun or his team? Hope we get answers to these types of questions soon.

He made a comment at the beginning of the week, saying he hadn't spoken with the then incoming owner.

McCann is the coach. Not manager.
He has/had limited input and no choice.
I have to say that he would probably say that he worked with the recruitment team.

I think if we sign Slater it’s a positive sign. It would suggest that we are not solely going down the Turkish based route. It would also suggest that Grant may not have spoken with Acun but certainly has with Tan Kesler.

It would also fit with a 3 year plan in which we consolidate, push on and aim for promotion. A young trusted midfielder who can replace either Smallwood or Huddlestone over the next season or so for nothing is a no brainer.

Also, Slater would not require a work permit so we could get him in straightaway. Surely, we'll have to wait for permits for the others and that is a significant delay?

thats put a downer on it, i watched that brief video open mouthed looking forward to tomorrows game.....
 
and another thing
imagine the scenario where the players dont speak english and acun has to coach them......
