most of that is your opinion. Just depends how fickle the general public are over Johnson’s abuse of power and how it’s perceived to reflect on the Torys. They may well win, I certainly wouldn’t be as confident as you when you see a seat that’s been Tory for several lifetimes lost.
I like to listen to my Remaining Mrs who talks to many people, mums and dads. She’s out tonight tonight socialising with a load of nurses. When we spoke yesterday I asked her about Party gate. And she said the majority of people she has spoken to think that politicians are all as bad as each other and although some are Pd with Boris they thought he has had a difficult 2 years with the pandemic and wouldn’t want his job. Many think Captain Hindsight is bland and boring.
This is not my thoughts but normal local people.
This is pretty much the same response I hear on the TV/radio.
Good luck to those who believe Starmer will win.

There'll be no overall majority at the next election. The Tories may get more seats than Labour, but my bet would be on a Labour-led coalition government.
No chance. You will be lucky if Captain Bland will still be leader. The Tories will come good and no one other than you, Bob and a few other will care about events now.

Right back at ya swap tidies for Labour
The difference with me to some others who post, is that I am honest enough to bash my own party and have done many times. It went very quiet on hear when Jezza had his problems… no one was worried about those MPs that left Labour? Very quiet indeed.

It’s not a case of maybe not. A few voices in an echo chamber isn’t the majority. The Tories will win again… probably not with an 80 seat majority… maybe 30-40 but they will win. The opposition is hopeless and is not credible. But if you think party gate will bring down the Tories you are deluded… I think deep down you know I am right.
I disagree, i really do hope Johnson stays because i dont think the people will ever forget and they would soon be reminded closer to an election.

Everyone mixes in different social circles. You would be pushed to find 10 people who even remotely like Johnson up north. He will lose the majority if not all those red wall seats. Hes a spineless liar, nobody wants someone like that to represent them.

They will also be reminded that Starmer ( if he is still leader) wanted a second referendum and his shadow cabinet is full of remainers… but that won’t be it.
The Tories will get the country back on track and things will move forward.

Thats nonsense I’ve been critical of Labour on numerous occasions.

No, but when they do opinion polls they ask a carefully selected cross-section of the electorate. Plainly these aren't as representative as the people Mr & Mrs Ellers talk to in true blue Toryshire.

Bob he doesn’t need to rely on the ones that bash him and the Tories, he only needs to keep the Tory voters onside.

So Labour could go down in history as the party that enabled the UK to be broken up
Most likely caused by people like Mogg saying how the scottish tories are lightweight, really must inspire the folk up there. How do the tories try get the scottish people to vote for a leader that they even want out. Its pretty funny really.
