Or maybe he is claiming the entire front garden and the wife claims the flower bed via some devolutionary arrangement?

Incidentally, I've had two treasure trove cases of silver cufflinks similar to the one in this article. One I got back, the other is in a drawer in a museum. They are a relatively common find.

I've been out for the day well over 100 times at say 6 hours searching, probably spent 1000 hours trudging round fields with a top of the range machine and I've never found gold. This fanny finds it in his effing garden!

I was merely pointing out that last week you were saying that it doesn't bother you when somebody finds something on their first hunt and then today you are calling a guy a ****ing fanny because he found gold in his garden and you generally find **** all in your hours and hours in the fields.

The only time I was annoyed was on a club dig where I found a hot spot and pulled up 4 silver and 15 bronze coins. Next week the rest of them were all over that area and one guy found a gold sovereign. Shouldda kept my mouth shut.
