The Daily Mail has long been friends with fascism.
You can’t expect them to now turn on a government that has been following the fascist play book that was used in the 30s.

Is this widely known? Sajid Javid’s brother is the Deputy Assistant Commissioner for the Metropolitan Police.
He’s followed on Twitter by none other than Carrie Johnson. Mmmm.

I’d sooner that the “big dog” was put down, but hey the longer he leads and continues to lie, the less opportunity the media have to repair the damage ahead of the next election.

Why are people so worried about parties. There is more important things going on. They should be talking about how to help with fuel prices or other equally important things. Not talking about who had parties. They can sort those kind of things out when this crisis is over. Typical opposition party though haven’t got anything else to criticise so go for the leader instead. Sorry for me which ever party is in this is just stupidity at a time of crisis!

"Typical opposition party though haven’t got anything else to criticise so go for the leader instead." How about the monumental ****up that is brexit, the PPE cronyism, the inept handling of the pandemic add the list of lies, deceit and misleading information and the opposition are locked and loaded.
"Why are people so worried about parties"?
The overwhelming view of these parties, more and more day by day disgusts across the board, have a look at the various reports and reactions to find out why.

I don’t think Beddy is suggesting that there is nothing else to criticise the government about. The question is why they don’t seem to be doing it / focusing more on the parties

But I do agree that Beddy seems to have completely missed / overlooked why people are talking about these parties so much

I know I've said this before but I think that sometimes what you might think of as an important issue doesn't always get the public's anger. But IMO Johnson has lost the senior Conservatives and the normally Conservative media and they are using something that has affected all of us (lockdown) to oust him. The media aren't going to drop this like they have other issues and as momentum builds the more his support diminishes. A stalking horse can't be far away.

The regular drip of stories from within No10 has a whiff of Cummins about it.

I see Starmer has been pictured having drinks with colleagues during lockdown. He has insisted he was working and won't apologise. It's nowhere near on the same scale as Boris and No.10 but he's now lost the moral high ground. ****ing idiot. He'd have been better off apologising TBH.

Have you fallen for the Daily Fail propaganda from the weekend ? Or has something new come out this morning

If the former at least you have proven why they did it

Edit: it appears you have. The inability of most people to spot the difference is exactly why the Mail ran that story when no one else did. And it was apparently reported at the time it happened to no comment

Reading through various articles and comments most accept the tory whataboutists Starmer story is nonsense and accept his explanation of a six person working dinner as being within the rules. The illegal party culture presided over by Spaffer bears no comparison.

I'm not suggesting anything, but I saw Sue Gray in B&Q at the weekend buying a big tub of whitewash.
