Red ball cricket needs to be prioritised, if that is what is desired, in the same way that limited overs was pushed, resulting in England becoming world champions.
Maybe the desire isn't there to get red ball cricket back to where it once was.

 

Just seen the highlights & my god there was diabolical dismissals in that lot, only one which Root got was unplayable, christ there needs to be a big shake up with this England team in players & management, also that 100 over game needs to be dropped, ok brings in money but ruins the test match cricket as we saw in this series
