In answer to your question proph, the manager made another error of judgement in disrupting the team that had the 3 points in the bag, there was no need for any subs to come on when the game was nearly over, the second point is simple, We don't have a strong bench or players good enough for premiership football when key players who are not much better are injured, It is gong to be very hard for us to stay in the premiership but not impossible if we do things right, for instance we need 4 or 5 quality players in January as we all know the second half of the season is always harder, you only have to look at Blackpool to see that, they were a top half team with some amazing results in the first half of the season and thought they don't need to strengthen in January.....big mistake.....they sank like a stone too relegation.....now look at us we are not as good as Blackpool were at this stage of the season so unless we get rid of the deadwood by selling, free or on loan and bring in better players then we wont survive, Mind you Brendan and monk and a few others can talk a good game and say what we must do but then do the opposite...<laugh>

In response to why this wasn't removed and yours was, Vetch, it's because yours was a non football based thread aimed directly at one poster which would blatantly have created loads of nasty insults. This wasn't meant to be that, but it's turned into that. I've said loads of times I don't want to delete stuff, and I'm trying not to, but if someone asks a question about football, why does it NEED to be turned into this tripe? If no-one had baited Prophet, this would have been fine. Everyone is entitled to change their mind, and even if Prophet has a track record of slinging insults unprovoked (which I maintain I don't remember being the case), if he starts a thread which is about football, one which is done in a way as to provoke debate, then I'll respond accordingly. If I sound sanctimonious...well, so be it.

Edit: And I'm not "championing" anyone. All I'm saying is everyone is whinging about him posting **** about the Swans/posters whatever, but then posts are directed at him to which the only possible response is a negative one. Ok, you can say "stay off the Swans forum" but he started a decent thread so I just think it's a bit childish that's all.

by the way, i must intervene, i know some of you have previous with proph but some of you need to stop reading too much in to things like scott says, proph came on here and made an honest football post with no anti swansea comments or tone to it and some of you proceed to turn this good thread with valid points made into yet another slanging match, its a shame tbh.

What I do see,however,is a complete overreaction from the OP,who simply has no sense of humour,and sees every response to him as an insult.

I think you have fallen for his attention seeking nonsense,just as Jager has recently.

From memory,most,if not all of his efforts to ingratiate himself on this Board,come to tears -- HIS.

He is a vile little troll,and if evidence is needed to substantiate that allegation,go back and read his little tantrum.

If he decides to come here,posting his trite nonsense,then he can only expect something in return.

I exercised considerable restraint earlier,but I cannot guarantee doing that next time.

And there will be a next time.

He cannot stay away,he needs the rush.

If I was going to take the piss, I'd have had a go at you about losing at Norwich, but I didn't see it so wasn't able to pass comment, and unlike you I won't comment unless I have at least a clue about what I'm talking about. The Arsenal game I saw about 3 minutes of on MOTD2 or something like that.........again I didn't see enough to make any kind of judgement.

As for keeping a low profile until the last ten minutes at Molineux.............I was away and didn't post until Sunday night.............as for a Chelsea bun in Greggs, I've been known to eat one.............but unlike you I don't base my allegiances on anything so petty.

Seems strange that Prophet visits after a cardiff win and swans throw away 3 pts!! the timing of his visit should tell all genuine posters of his intentions

That just shows what a pathetic specimen you are.................How come if someone has an opinion that may differ from yours it is "trite nonsense" as for "needing the rush", well I enjoy talking to decent football fans, a shame that you had to join in.
 
I'd like to apologise for this thread hitting the skids, it was meant as a genuine football comment, and I have been as guilty as anyone else for going of on a tangent, but for once it wasn't my fault..........sorry to the decent fans <ok>

My game is football I won't pretend that I don't hate the Swans being above us, I love it when we put one over on you, it makes my week, and I know a lot of Swans fans are the same don't mean I want you to fail...........I just want to beat you, us 10th and you 11th in the premiership would be my Xmas
