As it happens I do agree with you, everybody should be treated with equality, Starmer and Johnson the same when proven, I was pointing out what hypocrosy was being displayed and like I said they have all got their noses in the trough. What! , surely you aren’t suggesting Kier should be accused before a full enquiry into the circumstances or he has the right to defend himself, or do I detect double standards at play here?
I would politely point out whilst that may be true we don’t know for sure as whilst Boris has admitted it Kier hasn’t so maybe we shouldn’t jump to conclusions YET about him.As it happens I do agree with you, everybody should be treated with equality, Starmer and Johnson the same when proven, I was pointing out what hypocrosy was being displayed and like I said they have all got their noses in the trough.
I have to admit Boris did own up and apologise, here is the Starmer picture of him sharing a drink..I would politely point out whilst that may be true we don’t know for sure as whilst Boris has admitted it Kier hasn’t so maybe we shouldn’t jump to conclusions YET about him.
I don’t know the context of the photo , when or where it was taken, my point was yesterday you were adamant to wait for the result of an enquiry despite photos of and an admission of guilt from Boris, yet today based on a photograph alone you are happy to accuse Kier of wrong doing, it may turn out he did do wrong, that’s not the point, it’s that you apply different standards.I have to admit Boris did own up and apologise, here is the Starmer picture of him sharing a drink..

Sir Keir was photographed having drinks with Labour Party staff in a constituency office in Durham last May
Corrrect I still await the results of the report and to find out about the depth of the rules being breached and lies that have been told, Starmer is the one applying different standards, it came out yesterday that he has earned £116k payements for work outside of his parliamentary package, he has an MP on his benches who has had a son of an active spy working for him, the MP also recieved payements from the Chinese Communist party for £650k funding his Labour activities, Starmer has now been photographed boozing it up breaking the rules last May,he has had to isolate himself 6 times because of Covid and hide away, he is no saint in my eyes, I still remember him sitting alongside Corbyn sucking up to him over the EU, talk about standards, the man has a very low threshold.I don’t know the context of the photo , when or where it was taken, my point was yesterday you were adamant to wait for the result of an enquiry despite photos of and an admission of guilt from Boris, yet today based on a photograph alone you are happy to accuse Kier of wrong doing, it may turn out he did do wrong, that’s not the point, it’s that you apply different standards.
probably use the excuse it was a business meeting .. mind you could be trying to cook the books against Cummings!I don’t know the context of the photo , when or where it was taken, my point was yesterday you were adamant to wait for the result of an enquiry despite photos of and an admission of guilt from Boris, y
The news about the spy came out yesterday which suggests they wouldn’t have been aware of it previously. At present at least no blame can be apportioned for that. You keep saying Kier was breaking the rules, with no evidence other than a photo, yet once again say you are awaiting the report to apportion similar blame to Boris. If you honestly can’t see you are using different standards there is no point in this discussion as there is none so blind as those that don’t want to see.Corrrect I still await the results of the report and to find out about the depth of the rules being breached and lies that have been told, Starmer is the one applying different standards, it came out yesterday that he has earned £116k payements for work outside of his parliamentary package, he has an MP on his benches who has had a son of an active spy working for him, the MP also recieved payements from the Chinese Communist party for £650k funding his Labour activities, Starmer has now been photographed boozing it up breaking the rules last May,he has had to isolate himself 6 times because of Covid and hide away, he is no saint in my eyes, I still remember him sitting alongside Corbyn sucking up to him over the EU, talk about standards, the man has a very low threshold.
I do agree this discussion has ran its course but I have enjoyed having it.The news about the spy came out yesterday which suggests they wouldn’t have been aware of it previously. 'In a statement, Mr Gardiner, who was a member of the shadow cabinet under former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, said he had been liaising with the security services for a number of years about his contacts with Lee, who runs a law firm in central London.'

So have I Wiz, If I’m honest I’ve always considered Barry Gardiner to be one of the better MP’s of either colour, so if he turns out to be implicated I’d be surprised and disappointed,I do agree this discussion has ran its course but I have enjoyed having it.

Makes no difference whether Boris goes or not, nothing will change with these politicians, they are all the same, when it comes to breaking rules etc...Boris, just has a habit of getting caught......better the devil you know IMO!!I hate being lied to at the best of times but when it’s the prime minister it grates far worse.
I can’t wait for him to go - I have some champagne on ice ready.
As for trawling - I was just reading Sky news this morning and it was there. You don’t have to look hard to find those stories.
Oh - and I hardly ever read BBC news these days. Mostly Sky followed by the Mail.
