I wonder if it was Gardiner or other Labour MPs that championed for Huawie or that Nuclear plant that the Tories scrapped?

Actually, as it was MI5 who released this I'm a little confused.
They wouldn't normally make such an early announcement. I wonder if there are others they're trying to flush out.
Gardiner is an odious twat and should hopefully disappear now. The spy was employed by Gardiner's Son I believe.
Both ridiculously naive at best.

I think it’s a bit different because it’s M15 as the source rather than a leak or a journalist. But to be honest It doesn’t really matter. It seems that every where you glance in the Commons you will spot an odious twat. I assume if Gardiner had done anything demonstrably wrong or traitorous he’d be banged up already, and rightly so. I can’t be bothered to look up whether he’s been protecting Chinese interests on the floor of the house, although I’d assume that he (and his ilk) would never explicitly condemn Chinese human rights abuses because their values are seriously ****ed up.

I also can’t be bothered to look up who MI5 ultimately reports to - is it the Home Office, and MI6 the Foreign Office?

So as far as i can tell, everyone says that Big Baz should be sacked if this is true. I for one definately think he should. I can only speak for myself but it stinks of corruption. Maybe he will be best moving to the Tories as it seems acceptable by their voters!

Sod sacking him there needs to be an urgent question in the House tomorrow and an inquiry into how this can happen. Once again the Chinese are proving to the World exactly what they are about. The world needs to wake up.

If its not the chinese its the russians. Something needs to be done pronto. We could strike against chinese takeaways but damn my local is too nice to give up!

I was thinking the same. Tomorrow I will be having Chinese. No let’s not boycott the takeaways just don’t buy anything else that we sell in this country.

The Home Secretary is responsible for MI5. It seems this woman has been watched for years and the timing of today's revelation stinks. If, as Gardiner claims, he has been liaising with the security services all along, Priti Vacant needs to explain why this has come out now.

Yes, I was trying to say the same thing re MI5 making the announcement, whilst trying to make a vacuous comparison to Boris getting snitched on.

Yep. The commons is full of them.
