I've just seen this...
One of the MPs funded by Ms Lee was Labour's Barry Gardiner, who received over £420,000 from her in five year.
Nothing to see here. Look over there at Boris![]()
Yeah that's bullshit, he should be sent to the ****in Gulag for that.

Yeah, mate. **** them Labour scum.Yeah that's bullshit, he should be sent to the ****in Gulag for that.

They're all as bad as each other is the point I'm working towards.Well I ain't getting into a pissing contest about whether more Labour or Tory politicians have taken cash from foreigners, but if any of them do it they should be ****in stripped of their passports and deported to the country where they've been taking the sweets from
What are the rules for MPs accepting foreign contributions? Is that legal? And if it is how common is it?
I would hope it's illegal and constitutes jail time, but if it isn't and is common practice... It's clearly wrong, but perhaps the focus needs to be on changing the law rather than pointing fingers.
It clearly should be illegal and terrible if it isn't. Either way, probably not relevant to Covid though.
There's a cabbie on tic-tok who is a Tory voter, speaking to Beth Rigby from SKY, who's proper angry with Boris but don't know how to copy the link over here. It was only published 15 minutes ago, about a minute and half long, you might be able to find it via 'sky news' outlet.
The Chinese ladies son ended up as his diary managerI've watched SKY News Exclusive interview with Barry Gardiner and he claims all donations were declared, the guy that was interviewing him knows his stuff, so I suspect Barry is probably telling the truth.
The bit where it comes down on him is he claims none of the money was of benefit to him personally, and that can be assumed correct, but it did benefit the running of whatever office he was running, so it still is a donation of sorts to his benefit, even if not directly, I believe to the sum of £750,000.
He was asked what he had discussed with the Chinese spy and he claimed nothing in depth but the reporter as I said is pretty clued up and pulled him up on his wording, and it appears he did discuss our Nuclear Energy with her, to which the Chinese are contributors, and it would have been relevant to future deals, even if the Chinese did not benefit from them.
My summary, he clearly was duped and he was maybe naive to the little money tree that was coming to his department or office. So no suggestion he purposely tried to navigate around hiding the funding.
I think he probably feels a bit foolish now, and as i always say, trust no one.

lol, is that what you think is proper angry. Yea he'll never vote boris again but he's smiling through that all the way through. Probably lying to your face right now to get on camera.

Anyone know when @Tobes is back, I'm getting tired now keeping you lot amused.
Yeah but we were right onceI think he did say something about going away, because I remember me, Windy and Saff talking about having a not606 party as his gaff whilst he was away.
Not sure if that's now though. Hope he's alright and nothing has gone awry
Trouble with this place, if somebody doesn't post for a few days we all assume they've died of covid or something.
