No idea. There isn't a party out there that I feel remotely represents me. Too many politicians fighting for power and not enough fighting for what they believe in. And that goes for both sides. It was at it's worst during Brexit. We had May (a remainer) fighting to implement Brexit against Corbyn (a leaver) who was fighting to stop Brexit. Neither of them had the courage to campaign during the actual Brexit campaign, preferring to keep their heads down for their own political benefit.

If someone comes along who appears to show genuine compassion and fairness for all of society, with realistic policies and not pie in the sky idealisms, then they will get my vote.

This is what we had to put up with in the 70's - very angry Labour voters like Archers, better known as militants. Archers has never ever voted any other way, which is why he often ends up a loser.

The state of the Government that has negotiated Brexit, handled a World Pandemic pretty well and is still pressing forward with new trade deals, improving CO2 reductions, kept businesses running and jobs going through, has actually raised employment levels after all this and all the opposition can say is "but party's" or the classic "we wouldn't have done that" (never we would have done this <laugh>)

Some people just live way back in the past and don't realised the world has moved on.

This is a common problem when people come to vote.
What you need to remember is that there are 70 million people in this country and the Government are not supposed to represent them all individually. Their job is to run the country in a big world.

I don't expect them to represent me individually though, just as I don't expect any party to be a homogenous group all believing exactly the same thing. If everyone stood for what they believed in with no compromises then we would need 650 different political parties in Parliament. However, we need to make a choice of who we trust to make decisions - many of them decisions that have not been covered in a manifesto. We choose a party or candidate we believe will do that in a way closest to our own beliefs and ideals and in a way that will work in the real world. It isn't a problem of nobody reflecting all of my beliefs. It is a problem of nobody earning my trust. Like you say though, it's a country of 70 million people. They don't need my trust. They just need enough votes to win.

Some people have had their problems in life, and sometimes instead of taking responsibility for their irresponsible actions in the past, often in younger life, they want someone to blame. When the blame can quite easily be found by looking in the mirror, I'm not sure if Archers owns a mirror.

No need for apologies. You didn't come across as condescending. You just challenged what I said. If we can't debate and answer questions that challenge what we think then we are all ****ed. That's one of the problems with politics at the minute. It's as much our fault as theirs. Too many people don't want to hear things they don't agree with and that don't back up what they think. As soon as people say something that challenges them they get defensive. If the media do it they scream about bias. Too many people live in an echo chamber and that is why they are genuinely confused and shocked when they don't win because 'everyone' they know voted the other way. Of course they did. They blocked, ignored or deleted everyone who didn't agree with them!

Once Tobes comes back lads, remember I didn't start any of this, I think it would be a good idea if we just blame Archers and all forget any of this ever happened. Thanks guys.

Leaders who make rules and don't follow them need to start taking responsibility for their own actions and resign!

I'm going to assume he's fooked off on a nice holiday with the Mrs, somewhere nice and sunny, hence could be gone for two weeks. Positive thinking.

Well yes it is all their fault! The Labour Party was arse ****ed by the mass murderer Blair who sold out the party’s left wing socialist roots off and grasp the Tories middle ground stance to become more electable. Since then the Labour leadership has become a laughing stock of political sympathisers and *****phile appeasers. Last decent Labour politician was John Smith FFS.

Labour are a shambles full of paper jobs and bad housekeeping. I think you should drink less you rancid old reptile.
