A lot of chatter among the click bait sites about various PL clubs chasing Dykes. I really like Dykes - good work rate and has improved a lot in the last 18 months, but PL striker? Really? If anyone offered £6m+ (inflated as it's January and we don't 'need' to sell) we should bite their hand off and re-invest.

Just had something on my phone about 4 clubs interested. One of which is Newcastle.

Must just be click-bait nonsense. I've not seen it from any of the sites I trust more like WLS.

Can't see it being anything but paper talk, especially regarding Newcastle.

He's not old and is Scotland's number 9 ! I'm sorry but 10 mill is surely the starting bid, I think he's decent. What we've seen over the last 3 months is an unfit player that was carrying a foot injury before Scotland completely ****ed him. I said it at the time that we were thick ****ers letting go for those 2 games and we've had a player who's not fit ever since. If tge same thing happens with Chair in Africa after he missed the last 2 games through injury then we have no one to blame but ourselves ! It's like promotion isn't important, just let our key players play for their national sides while already injured. Farcical

Strong rumour that we're getting David Marshall from Derby in to replace Archer for the season.

£6 million for an International goal scoring striker as he is now - you must be joking. He scored last game and reckon he may go on another scoring streak. We need him if we want a top 6 place, and won't replace a striker at his current level with £6 million easily this month.

I hope you and Hammersmith are right, but I don't see it. Doesn't have the pace or natural ability to make it in the PL from what I see. Proper grafter, who I like a lot, but think the championship is where he'll stay. Put another way, I wouldn't want him as our main striker going into a PL season.

I have to agree. He has really grown on me and improved his game a lot whilst with us. Premier league? Hmmm maybe a Burnley type player at best.

    https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/woodman-marshall-and-hamer-on-radar-as-qpr-chase-keeper-deal

Woodman 24 years old would be a decent shout...... had a decent season with Swansea last season and can't get a game with Saudi Toon....... England under age international, should be pushing on by now to make the No 1 shirt his....... maybe his progress has stalled......

Hamer 34 years oldhas been around for years and only played 20 odd games in each of the last 3 seasons, so mostly been warming the bench..........

Marshall 36 years old and another olden........

I'd give Walsh the shirt for next month and get Barnes back from Yeovil........

    2 + 2 = ??????

Henderson might be on the move

No Dean Henderson on the Manchester United bench tonight.

Told he is not injured but isn't being risked.

The obvious conclusion is that a loan move is being lined up.

Henderson has been keen to get some game time having lost his place in the England squad.

I'm pretty sure Trammers was joking :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Can't believe Marshall got injured in the warm-up!

Used to rate Westwood very highly but he must be a bit rusty now.
