It's FFP allowance so probably isn't too far away from the truth.
Spurs are skint because of their new stadium, but that doesn't impact FFP calculations because it is infrastructure. They don't have £400M to spend but if they did they would be allowed to spend it as their commercial revenue absolutely dwarfs ours.
The reason our allowance is so high compared to some other clubs is nothing to do with how much money PIF have, but is because Ashley always kept the balance sheet quite tight.
The reason ours is so low compared to some other clubs is also down to Ashley, and his failure to develop our commercial revenue.
From what I understand that's only this seasons spending as well so I think I heard somewhere if you defer payments over 5 years only the payment for this season counts towards the cost of the transfer expenditure for the year. So teams could go above and beyond. And once our cmmercial revenue is more in keeping with the rest of the teams in the league that figure will grow surely?
In regards to Evertons (-)£35 million - that's baffling as they just spend £16m on Rangers youth RB so they must be expecting £40-50m worth of outgoings? Unless of course that mins 35 is including that particular transfer.
Haven't seen DCL linked with anyone... yet... but he would be the player in their team to command that type of fee.
