What area are you from then Rocky? Anywhere near Hazlemere? It would just be handy to have a quiet bite in the Sun before the game as I'll almost certainly be at Lane End from around mid day, but I can easily be somewhere else if that would be easier.

I know it. I used to work not far from there. So maybe the Crown, or Three Horseshoes at Hazlemere crossroads (sorry roundabout) would be more convenient?

nice to hear it sy and you are right its a big night for both clubs.wycombe need a win and spurs need to avoid defeat by more than one goal but i feel they must score tonight to have any chance going into the home leg

Agreed! The Blues must win to keep their promotion push going after the mis-hap against Bradford and as for Spurs, indeed a score draw or a narrow defeat keeps them well in the tie.

Fingers crossed, nerves will start setting in soon.

Hoping for some good news/luck today - Day has not gone well so far, woke up from a bad nights sleep with a killer sore-throat, got ready for work, then found there was no tram, walked 3miles to the nearest metro, no metro either (all Brussels transport was on strike!) - Phoned work and was told I had little choice but to take an (unwanted!) days leave!

So it'll be off down to the local sports bar to see Spurs whilst keeping an eye on my mobile and the Blues.

I didn't know that. Just spoken to my brother-in-law who lives in Lane End and he said it had been closed for ages but planning permission hadn't been obtained yet. I used to enjoy my meals there and the Guinness and pool. I'll have to find somewhere else to eat now.

I stayed at The Tree at Cadmore End for a few days last year and one evening went for a nice Indian in Stokenchurch.
