Match preview;
Rotherham have won 15 drawn 5 and lost 4 so far this season and sit top of League 1. Their top scorer is Michael Smith, with 15 goals. They are only one point clear of Sunderland, and so here's hoping they are fully focused on their League form, and won't bother with the cup. They've already beaten Bromley (3-0) and Stockport (1-0) in the FA Cup, and are through to the fourth round of the EFL Trophy.
As for us, the FA Cup hasn't been kind to us for many years. Last year we lost to Fulham in our first game in the cup, the year before that we lost in the fourth round, and in 2019 we lost to Watford in the sixth round, which was the first time we'd gone beyond the third round since losing to MK Dons in the fifth round in 2013. Some of the losses have been rather embarrassing...notably our 2002 exit at the hands of Vauxhall Motors. However, surely one day we have to string a cup run together, so here's hoping.
Team news and manager comments to go up when they are on the official...enjoy those who'll make it, and as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
