That scene with the knife fight while the bloke stands frozen on the stairs. That's one of the most uncomfortable scenes I've ever seen tbh. I was mash up at the time though so that may have had something to do with it. But very very disturbing the way that knife goes in.
Films that you just don't get or think are overrated: 2001: A Space Odyssey... seriously wtf. Just can't get into it.
Was on last night, watched the first half hour then went to bed. My middle son 'likes' to watch it. Very graphic, hard to believe it was less than 80 years ago.
All war films that try to portray what war is really like rather than just a Hollywood blockbuster are brutal and often hard to watch Hacksaw Ridge was even more graphic and based on a true story from the same era It may be necessary to show people what war entails to prevent people going to war willingly
Great movie that is, hacksaw ridge. Had no clue it based on real events til the very end when they show some of the guys all old and ****
Watched Monster Hunter last night... 2.5/10 It's bad... Really bad. It even has Ron Perlman wearing one of the worst wigs in film history. I've never played the game so not sure if that worked against me but after watching that, I'll have zero interest in ever playing the game.
Tried the witcher again. Got into it this time. it's okay like nothing brilliant. Season 2 tonight Or maybe season 3 of cobra kai now Se4 started
Never seen it but read the first two books. First was crap, go somewhere kill a monster and move one same thing for about 10 stories with no links. Second one was better and started to stitch things together a bit about his past. May read the third one day.
I've just started season two of The Witcher. It's as weird as the first season so far, not entirely sure why I keep watching it as I can't say I love it but for some reason I just can't bin it off. I've already binged season four of Cobra Kai, it's got some quality one liners from Johnny just like the other seasons. He carries the show so much and makes it a great watch. I've enjoyed every season so far though, purely for the nostalgia and his one liners, the teenage ***** **** I guess caters to younger fans.
I watched 1 and 2 but have binned it off now in the hope that they finish it off, I might go back and watch it then. If it keeps going on and on then forget it.
The Witcher sounds mega **** glad I’ve swerved it currently watching Inside the real Narcos another epic decision by me
I'd never heard of it and just IMDB'd it after reading your post. Guy Ritchie film with what looks like one of his typical plots. Sounds interesting.
If like me you like Guy Ritchie films it's a must see. Worth it even if you're not, not a fan of Hugh Grant but even enjoyed his role in it, after the Initial thoughts of, I don't like this bloke, he grew on me.
