In fairness it was Benitez who recommended him to the RS’s DoF at the time he signed for Liverpool.
He’s not what we need though, he’d be another James, a match winner but rarely turns up.

He’s on about £250k a week and is 29. I can see Benitez being keen as he really rates him, but I’d rather see him being another Ozil at Arsenal tbh.

Wouldnt mind seeing him back in the prem tbh.

29 ain't ancient and he's played here before so could work out, he just want to play to get in the Brazil squad by all accounts so if that's true he could go to the geordies if all else fails <laugh>
 
Would take Lukaku on loan for the rest of the season then sign on a permanent for cut price 25 mill in summer
