I've no idea either mate, as I haven't watched the BBC, but while on the topic, I really did feel like SKY News tried to play this whole Maxwell thing down. I'm not saying they did, just that I personally feel they did. I tried to see if the trial was on TV but I couldn't find anything, not even on the Court TV channel. So I could only grasp what was going on from bulletins, and to me it sounded all abit iffy with the prosecution, whether the Jury would buy into their story, to find her guilty - which they did, thankfully. Hence it leaves me to say, something stinks about this whole case right down to the media. Afterall let's not forget Robert Maxwell her father was a media tycoon, it was rotten to the core back then, and it's probably rotten to core today at the highest levels.
Yeh can't disagree with that, I said way back there was very little coverage, especially when you consider the floyyd trial got so much media attention and rightly so & obviously that was on tv but this should outrage people just the same, this **** goes deep and to the highest and most powerful in society. Jeffrey's assassination should have Brought this case to the front of everyone's mind and stamped it there. But as you say her dad still has friends in the right places lol
I might be wrong, but I don't think they are allowed to televise trials with anonymous victims and witnesses
All they did with the Geroge Floyd trial was turn the cameras off when the minors appeared, or divert the camera away from them , so I think they could easily have accomodated the same procedures at the direction of the judge. There is also a time delay on vocal communication, so it gave the producers enough time to edit out any names during broadcast. But yeah take your point.
It's corrupt to the core mate, we all know media tycoons have power over the politicians. I'm not sure if I'm remembering right I'm sure this has all come to light before, with politicians granting certain rights to the broadcasters, namely with people like SKY, I'm sure there was some big thing during Blair's reign, can't remember if he was for or against what they were doing, I just remember it kicking up over something (against whatever it was I'd imagine, with SKY being more to the right, well imo).
No idea who Sonia is but clearly an idiot as ITV have done a complete TV interview with him. The brother is an utter lowlife **** btw. His ITV interview comes off as bad as Prince Andrew's, in slating the victims whilst trying to defend her.
Whata ****ing waste of ****ing time and resources this is. Go do a random one at the commons innit, fukin collection agents.
Numbers innit, come election they can say some bullshit about how they've been tough on drugs. Yknow, swabbing random people on a night out. Fukin gestapo ****. Nothing but collection agents. Good luck getting one of me in the street is all I'm sayin
How is that even legal? Interesting that they went to Shoreditch, home of the hipster, and failed to find any white people...
Oh you'll be sure when they stop you it's worded like you have to comply. Even tho it's probably not. And they went to Shoreditch cos they Know its a hot-spot of drug users on a night out. Another tactic they use is to bring a dog, who's sniffs out bystanders and that's thier in. Fukin tramps
30 knife murders in my city this year. And that's just the kids. And this is what sadiq has the feds doing. No really
As I thought If police try to stop and swab you: you can refuse. It’s your right. "While police regularly abuse their power and act outside the law, they have no legal power to forcibly swab or drug test you on the street Tell em to **** off & get a proper job
I don't take any drugs Sucky but if I did and I had been I'd let them swab me and when it comes back positive I'd just shrug and say so what. They can't start nicking people just because they've been in contact with drugs.
