Well, as another year is on the cusp of ticking over, I’d just like to wish all of my fellow City supporters a Happy New Year. Here’s hoping that the club is in new hands very soon and we can look forward to supporting the club going forwards.

I hope everyone and their families has a happy and healthy 2022.

All the best

Happy Holiday. (Don't want to offend those who don't use the Gregorian Calendar and celebrate their New Year on a different date).

Health is the true wealth, as I’m sure you’ll appreciate. Hope you’re still improving & getting back to your previous levels of fitness.

Happy New Year pal.

Totally agree on the health. My accident made me increasingly conscious of how life can change in the blink of an eye.

Making good progress thanks Ben. It’s been a much longer road back to something like than I had ever anticipated. Nerve damage remains the same. Last strength test my on my right hand in October, it was about 30% compared to my non dominant left hand. So, there’s still a bit of a way to go yet. But I’m working on it relentlessly. Courtesy of a turbo trainer, fitness is pretty good at the moment and I’ve lost quite a bit of weight since the Summer eating sensibly and maintaining over 100km a week on Zwift :emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0165-muscl

:emoticon-0158-time: Here’s to 2022

Recovering from a fractured tibia and dislocated kneecap (happened while walking the dog - not his fault!). Joining a crossfit box today and smashing the Peloton (bike). Injury stopped me dead in my tracks and affected my fitness levels. As I serve in the military, I need to keep to a certain level.

Good luck with your continued recovery.

Ditto Ming! Best of luck with your recovery too. I’m 15 months in now and I didn’t think it would take this long. Progression now is in very small increments, but I’ll take any progress I can get. I’m in my late 40s, so I guess it was never going to be a quick turnaround.

Stick at the Peloton biking, I’ve found Zwift a bit addictive to be honest, hated it at first. I’m a bit of a sprinter, so I like smashing other Zwifters from around the world in the sprint sections <laugh><laugh>:emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0165-muscl.
