I once stayed in a hotel in Blackpool, well B&B really, that had more ****ing tech in it than an Elon Musk satellite!
Looked like a normal B&B from the outside, but the room had some type of touch pad thing controlling everything including the tv at the end of the jacuzzi bath, lights, curtains…every ****ing thing. I couldn’t figure it out sober so I had no ****ing chance when I got back! Had to go to sleep with all the lights on a the jacuzzi bubbling away with its lights changing every few seconds!
They also had an honesty bar…which was nice.
I actually think we all might have been too honest, but I do know before I went to bed I ticked my breakfast selection.
Breakfast just kept coming and coming…turns out I couldn’t decide so I’d ticked everything! The owners were amused enough to ****ing cook me everything too! (Did most of it)
Honestly bar??? Are they still going? Asking for a friend.

Even having smug sycophants like Woss, Elton and Sessions in shot can't dampen Spikes impact there. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
I've watched it lots of times, and know exactly what is coming but still guffaw. Much like Billy Connolly's incontinence pants. joke. :emoticon-0100-smile

Assuming it goes ahead tomorrow, it will be very interesting to see who's fit to play and who isn't? I assume Josh Hinds will be on the bench, if he is in the starting lineup, then we really are struggling to put a team out.

Anyone know much about Josh Hinds? What is his record like for U23’s and loan spells? Do we think he has enough in him to be pushing for a first team place? (when we have a full squad that is)

I remember watching our first million pound player away at Bloomfield Road it didn't end well for him he was knocked unconscious and we lost 2-1 to a goal scored by our former centre forward ten minutes or so into extra time, we didn't get home until 2-30am and I had my 6 year old lad with me it didn't go down well with the wife as he had school a few hours later, great night though

I've seen him a couple of times and he shows a lot of promise. Big lad, strong and pacey with a trick or two. He scored four away at Coventry for the Under 23's before he was loaned out to Spalding, which I thought was an odd loan as I thought he would have progressed more at a club like Scunny or Grimsby. Looks like he's going to get some first team action at Bloomfield Road so it's a big chance for him. He has more of a future at the club then three of the current forwards we have all of whom are regulars in the first team squad, KLP excluded.

If you plough through the under-23's thread he appears in one or two of the goal videos. From the little there is I thought he looked handy. As UP said earlier, big and strong with a turn of pace in him.

Cheers Plum, I’ll go check it out. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Nice! That’s really good to hear. Really hope he gets at chance tomorrow. On the form of Wills and Magennis, he should at least get an opportunity.

I was there for that. I think it was a League Cup match. We were in a temporary stand at the side of the pitch. It was Caleb Folan's first game for us, I think. He was far too fast and clever for the Blackpool defence so they just flattened him at every opportunity.

I see that he is only 18. Just the sort of age one would like for a player to break out.
