Brighton absolutely deserve that equaliser. They’ve battered Chelsea this second half. I’m a broken record but give Potter a significant war chest or a team with a top striker and he’d cause major problems.
They play football the right way and while I didn’t want him in the summer, he’s one to keep an eye on. Can see him at a top 6 club one day and he’s got fans in Pep and Klopp
It’s called league football…20 teams participate in this league the aim is to get as many points as possible with every game you play Win = 3 points Draw = 1 point Loss = 0 points The season consists of 38 games. At the end of the 38 games, a process that takes around 10 months…you aim to get as many points as you can so you can finish as high as possible League football, don’t get it confused with cup football Will explain Cup football concept to you when relevant in order to avoid confusion.
There were farcical referee decisions in that game but Brighton deserved to win. Bar a 20 minute spell they thoroughly outplayed us. They are fantastically well coached.
This statement could easily apply to virtually any game in the last couple of weeks. It's getting a bit farcical. Lukaku giving Maupay a decent left-right combo, Rudiger two-footing it and Veltman handling. Didn't make the highlights, for some reason:
That one tickled. But in one post you've pretty much described incidents that would not look out of place in Boxing, UFC and NBA respectively.
I'd love to see another angle of that Veltman incident. The first makes it look like nothing and the second makes it look like he blatantly saved it. There's got to be clearer footage, but that might make it obvious what happened.
