Bergwijn has joined Romero and Sessegnon on the treatment table, but Lo Celso is available. Lineups for each side's last league game: Spurs: Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Royal, Winks, Hojbjerg, Reguilon; Alli, Kane, Son. Subs: Gollini, Doherty, Rodon, Tanganga, White, Skipp, Ndombele, Gil, Moura. League form: WWWDWD. Watford: Bachmann; Femenia, Sierralta, Cathcart, Masina; Kucka, Sissoko, Tufan; Hernandez, Dennis, King. Subs: Angelini, Morris, Gosling, Conteh, Louza, Sema, Fletcher, Pedro. League form: WLLLLL. Ref: Robert Jones. Another relatively new ref from Merseyside. VAR: Lee Mason. TV: Not televised. How would you like to line up for this one?
There’ll be small rotation again I’d imagine. Think we’ll see something like: Hugo Tanganga, Dier, Davies Doherty, Skipp, Winks, Reguilon Lucas, Kane, Gil
Gil’s looked good in both cameos too, ties in to what I believe in that if he gets more games with the top tier players and not thrown into some jumbled up B-team full of wasters, he’ll show how good he can be. Should’ve scored and had an assist when he came on the other day, more minutes and chances and I reckon he’ll actually register some stats. His ceiling is massive, really do believe that.
Yeah he’s got tonnes of technical ability and I’ve seen nothing to suggest his attitude is off. He could perhaps do with toughening up a bit, whether that’s mentally or putting on some muscle or a bit of both. All the ingredients are there though.
I’d be worried if we lost today, Smithy, seeing as we’re playing on Saturday. You must have been taking a leaf out of @Left on the Shelf ’s book with regards to Spurs KOs
I do live nearly 5,000 miles away from my old Tottenham home.....and I'm old. I'm allowed the odd brain fart!?
THREE consecutive 3pm KOs ?? And this one on a SATURDAY ?? What can it mean .... ?? < this year is our year >
