Message from the Old Bill, decision on match taking place is due tomorrow, probably after yet more testing.

There’s probably some players who will become available for Wednesday depending on when they caught Covid. Anyone who caught it on the 23rd or before, for which there were definitely some, would become available if they tested negative tomorrow and Weds under the new 7 day rule.

I suppose it depends on when quarantine periods end for individual players, so we could have the required number of players today but testing tomorrow could reveal more positives. But if it was me I would bin off the Sheff Utd and Blackpool games, isolate the players and then resume next week.

I would have thought if they have had COVID then would they be in a fit state to play?

Seen a rumour on Twitter from the Sheff United end that the EFL as it stands are forcing us to play on Weds, a squad of 13 plus a goalkeeper. Sounds like a couple of our players also reported back to training today. Not a clue on whether this is true or not but guess we’ll find out soon enough.

Could this forced change in playing staff much like the injury forced formation bring about more tactical genius and a win!!!
