So when I decided that I was going to go something like this for December, basically as some sort of therapy for myself, due to the fact that all the shops will be blasting out the usual suspects of Christmas songs, I had a good idea of about 20 of the 24 songs that I would post. Some would be by groups you have heard of, some would be songs you have heard of done differently, some would be totally alien to you, but hey we all know my music taste is weird and diverse and I am not ashamed of that :)

So I needed another 4 songs to fill in those missing days, and I had plenty of potentials, but I wanted to just play it by ear, see how my mood was, and just post something that struck a chord. With the sad news about Mike Nesbit, then it was appropriate that I played a Monkees Christmas Song, even though I had never even given them a thought to feature in this little collection.

So by now you are probably all thinking what on earth is Aski rabbiting on about :) Well it's mainly whilst I have ideas about what I am going to post, I will always do a quick search to see if there is something out there that I haven't already got in my record collection. Something that is both new to myself as well as you lot :)

So with such a big build up, it pretty much follows that the song I am now going to post will be so anti climatic, but I love the sound of this band :) (They may even feature again on this thread, once the Christmas period is over ;) )
