Why don't the people of Britain value freedom or liberty?

The crazed Lefties certainly believe in the big state. The problem is that Bolshevik Boris and Socialist Sunak seem to believe in it as well. Those that would normally vote Conservative have become disillusioned as their party is no longer led by a conservative but a populist. The reality is that the Conservative Party has never really been libertarian but it is currently painted that way in the MSM.
If you live in England (as more than 50 million of us do), you are certainly freer than those that live under crazed Lefties in Scotland and Wales. They love Lockdowns and control of the masses.
I think some people on here have got Bobby McGee and Billie Joe McAllister mixed up but then there are plenty of mixed up people on this forum.
The only true freedom a man can ever know, is doing his duty because he wants to do it.
