The vaccinated crew are becoming like the Vegetarians

Looks like footballers are getting pressurised into having their jabs or being exposed like criminals

Media bandwagon well on its way

well sins it doesn't stop you catching it think they should calm down a bit and to prove the point

Just got back from taking the Mrs to the quacks (just needed a blood sample) and have had a text message from her physio to say she can't come tomorrow as she has had a positive lateral flow test <yikes>

and as a she is treated as a priority medical staff for vaccines etc due to visiting vulnerable people in their house she has had all 3 jabs (well before me for example ) and has a constant supply of LTF as she does one every day .

Not criminals but when the unvaccinated players have stricter isolation rules than vaccinated and games are called off as a result, it affects us all and affects their club’s finances while picking up their five or six figures per week. Realistically, unvaccinated players will become less desirable in the transfer market if they’re likely to be available less.

Think the time has now come for all fans attending stadiums to show proof of vaccinations and a negative LF test taken that day.

After my experience at ER on Saturday it seems relatively simple and straight forward...was given a wristband after showing my vaccine status and could have easily shown my negatvie LF test result which was on my phone as well but was not required.

Or we can go back to no fans.

This ain't aimed at anyone here but I do not get the objections to providing either a negative LFT test or that you're up to date on your vaccines.

To go abroad you must have a passport.

To drive a car etc you must have a licence.

To work with vulnerable people you must have 3 yearly DBS checks plus more every time you change jobs.

To drink in a pub or to buy alcohol in a shop you must have ID to prove your age.

Employers are required, by law to check whether a new employee has the legal right to work her so employees have to provide passports or birth certificates.

If you change mobile phone providers in store they can and often do ask for passport proof of ID.

Banks ask for tonnes of stuff including all home addresses for the previous 5 years.

These have been in place for years do I do not get the problem with showing either a negative test or proof that you've had your vaccines.

If you don't want a test of the vaccine then surely you are choosing not to go to any event that wants one ... just like I would be choosing to leaving my career if I chose not to renew my DBS check etc.

Seems to me that some people are simply looking to be deliberately obstinate for the sake of it or have viewed down a very dark rabbit hole.

Unless you have a medical reason for not being vaccinated then stay at home.

There are many millions of fully vaccinated people who would like to get on with their usual daily lives and the proof is now unequivocal that it's unvaccinated people putting the most strain on the NHS.

Just had a clinically vulnerable letter/Covid PCR test posted.

to take if any symptoms rather than a lateral flow. Some new treatments need starting as early as possible to keep this group out of hospital. Also booked 4th jab on back of this.

Yeah the wife got that this morning.
Take the PCR as soon as she has symptoms. If it’s positive they’ll start her on one of the treatments ASAP.
Doesn’t actually say which treatment. Hope it’s bleach.
