Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, songs from the whole catalogue, live session for BBC4, on now. Looks a few years old, but genius. He is a shaman.
My son just informed of a music genre called Permanent Wave. He wasn't aware of it any more than I was, but his Spotify play list put him in that category. Having checked it out, it seems to include pretty much anyone who was ever any good. Not much in this top 100 that I don't like...... Top Permanent Wave songs and artists - Chosic
There is an epic version of We Call upon the Author, penultimate song, preceded by Mercy Seat and followed by their incredible version of Stagger Lee. I can’t imagine any other band which could string these three songs together.
Pretty sure it's another catch-all genre invented by Spotify...my top genre on Spotify for the last two years has been Chamber Psych and I've no idea what that is, but when you look at the top tunes it's full of diaconnected genres which I really like https://www.mymusicstream.com/genre/chamber-psych
Me too. Binged three episodes already. Starting to tire of the stern meetings between hard men in car parks, fields etc though.
Switch your TV off and listen to Stuart Maconie on 6 Music....it's his Freak Zone, and tonight it's all these totally random Beatles covers - brilliant
Elvis Costello on the Royal Variety thing just said those dread words, 'This is one from our new album'.
It was a great two hours - not heard any of these covers before... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0012ms2 Well worth 2 hours during your Christmas break
Having been off work for the last five weeks I think a review of the afternoon drinking in the longhorn bar in upper hutt is long overdue Fantastic
