C'mon Hibbees, let's have another rendition of Sunshine on Leith at Hampden at the expense of the puddle drinkers from the East End <laugh>

Man City 3-0 up in their 'practice match' at Newcastle who are looking every inch relegation fodder...

Clearly men against boys, but yet again Atkinson demonstrated that he is a big club referee by not giving toon a clear penalty.

Chelsea being held at wolves going into stoppage time.

Cert penalty. What's the point of VAR if they can't tell him to take another look at that?

Cracking game but clear pen on Jota not given by ref or VAR either. Alot of pathetic decisions by refs not being overturned by VAR saying its not a clear and obvious error ! How ****ing obvious does it need to be ? Clueless

Just switched on and asking how wasn't Kane sent off for that studs up shin high tackle and why wasn't there a Liverpool penalty either..... what's var there for these days?

Isn't it about time the VAR experiment was brought to an end? Whilst there is the argument that it adds additional drama to the proceedings, that wasn't what it was brought in for. We are seeing more and more baffling decisions despite VAR that you may as well leave the call with the referee and his linesmen... sorry, assistants... and let the game run without these fairly lengthy VAR review delays which ultimately end up with a pretty random subjective call by the authorities anyway. The only thing VAR seems to get 'right' is offside, which is now decided to the nanometre - that in itself is pretty crap.

I agree but Pandora’s box is open now and it won’t be closed. No matter how many replays you give these guys, a lot of them are just very **** and you can’t sack them. Even if you could, I’m not sure there’s a pipeline of excellent younger refs coming through.
