I don't understand, if you produce a test to say you haven't got it then how can you be recorded as dying from it, similarly if you have it and you die after 28days of the confirmation that you had it, say 30 or 40 days later, are you not recorded as one of the death from covid-19?

Nope, very specific figure and wording mate, died within 28 days of recording a positive test.

Then couldn't there be a whole lot of people who die due to the effects of covid-19 after say 40 days who aren't being counted in the stats?

The bit where you called it bullshit and denied the accuracy of the figures, without grasping how it actually works. For the ONS figures to be wrong someone is lying on a death cert.

Nobody is lying on the certificates which is why the word "with" is used instead of from, the 28 days is purely to bring us in line with others according to you so we look better.
It would be so much easier and more accurate to record deaths "from" Covid and it's related complications.

Why are deaths being classed "with Covid" and not "from Covid" and what significance does recording a positive test within 28 days hold.

Figures earlier this year showed a comparison in death statistics.
Those totalled the last 5 years to get a more accurate average and the excess deaths (the amount above was slightly higher) . Can't remember where I read it so obviously my memory could be wrong.

There could well be if it triggered or made worse a pre-existing condition

Clearly there is something causing more people than average to die in England, perhaps it is covid-19? there appears to be quite a good correlation between the increases and those with covid-19 mentioned on their death certificate.
