I'm curious: two years into the pandemic and a year after the vaccines rolled out, what would the in-between be?

These will be young, very fit, people in their 20s or early 30s. They almost certainly will have had friends or people they know or even themselves who have had Covid and been ok from it. Their logic might be that they think that is justification for not putting this particular vaccine in their bodies.

Not saying I agree with them but this might be their thinking

They have been told time and again by medical professionals that they should get the jab, and that their justifications fall short. And they aren't anti-vax. They just...aren't getting the vax. Beyond sheer laziness, why? Because if the reason is that they believe that the vaccination is more dangerous than COVID to them, they're wildly misinformed. Maybe not "Bill Gates' microchip is going to steal my brainwaves" anti-vax, but anti-vax nonetheless.

Phobia of needles perhaps? Some people might feel they simply don't need it? There could be plenty of reasons.

I've not had it but I certainly wouldn't class myself as anti-vaxx. I've had plenty over the years and my Son has had all of his jabs.

Well if you define Anti Vax as being against the Covid vaccination then yes you could class them as that. I thought Anti Vax was against all vaccinations

I generally classify anti-vax as being against one or more vaccines based on sheer misinformation.

Take my employer. He has had all of his other vaccines, including getting the shingles vaccination a couple years back. He has not gotten the COVID vaccine, which means that he cannot get across the border to our US location, is barred entrance to his synagogue, and his wife (who is a public sector employee and isn't vaccinated) either has or was going to leave her job as a result.

His reasons for doing so are purely based on right-wing brain rot. At one point, he asked me whether I could dig up information on the ownership of a Canadian company that is involved in producing one of the components of the vaccines, because he had read that the company was secretly owned by George Soros. I got a paid day off after getting vaccinated not so that I could recover, but to ensure that he wouldn't catch my 5G waves or whatever.

    To me, that's anti-vax.

Really, what a man you are. Not taking a vaccination that will protect you and those you're close to. No respect none whatsoever.

Funny - you quote my post where I say “MAIN” reason.

And then completely ignore it and conduct a good old strawman argument.

And then have the nerve to question why there isn’t debate on things like this? Blimey.

Your original post didn't state that at all which is the one I called nonsense. "25% are anti-vaxx"

Apologies I missed it on second one as I'm working. My bad.

So why not? Do you just want to wind people up or have you got a common sense and logical reason not to get jabbed?
