Foreign owners are often absentee owners and the fact is that there is often a disconnect with the supporter community. We have already had this with owners who knew nothing about football. Now we will have an owner how knows about football, but has only a tourists view of Hull.
He said Hull was similar to Istanbul with our bridges and close by seaside resorts. Spoken like a Hull native.

We've had it with owners who live locally, so why were they any better? Foreign owners can be good or bad, as can local owners, as we've seen. His nationality should have no bearing on it and he's evidently already embraced the club.

Allams have lived in Hull most of their lives for all the good it did us.

I said I have concerns, there is nothing wrong with having a concern about a foreign owner of Hull City. The FSA has concerns about the foreign ownership of football clubs and I share those concerns. There is often a disconnect with the supporter community with foreign ownership. That is a fact and not an opinion.

Assem Allam was venerated when he first took over the club, but quite a few supporters said at the time that he was not someone that they trusted or liked.
Adam Pearson is still held in high regard by many, not by me, but many.
David Lloyd, well he certainly knew Hull (NOT) and he really wanted to take the club to places no one ever dreamed of.
That duo Barlett and Duffen, odd isn't it no one ever chanted their names.

So if you have absolutely no concerns, about an owner who six months ago I doubt that anyone on here knew existed, who is very closely linked to a government that is best described as having aims to be a hard line Islamic state, that's fine.

I on the over hand will wait to see what is on table for us before I say that I haven't any worries.

I agree on the twats part, but all the same when you sit and think about what they have done since day 1 till now they have done good as well for the city and the club.

Hate can sometimes make people blind.
Do you mean in the same way that blind love can make blind fools of us?

I am not sure what the minimum requirement is for recognition in the honours system. But you would have thought that by now, hospital department funding and university donations, not least of all the building that bears his name being opened by Her Majesty, that some small gong must have been considered for him?

Or maybe, perhaps maybe, it is not just you that "agree on the twat part",
