yeah, i thought it really was just defensive bowling on the line and length and they thought o bash it in and get the wickets that way udring the day. broad cmae on at the end for the "real tactic" but they were run out rags by that time.

Indeed and that the only got to bowl a very few number of overs in the conditions that they waited all day to bowl in.
    It was bloody nonsense.

We've picked the wrong tactics again for this match. Looks like the pitch could turn also on days 4/5 and will be ideal conditions for Lyon to improve on his 400+ wickets with a shed load of left handers in the England line-up.

yeah, can see spin being massive later on.

I have to say that yes there was an issue there for Labuschagne round his grid but imo he'd have been gone if he got that once or twice an over not every time.

Looks bad right now. A reasonably sort of even morning but Australia have the chance to go try win this test if they go hard now they get england under the lights.

Smith past 50 and really is down to how fast Australia want to score now.

It's very very very slow scoring

Australia don’t need to score quickly. they’ll bowl us out within 50 overs and get to bat again tomorrow.

less see then. can't see england getting close but i suppose a miracle in batting could occur.

They have 2.5 days to bats.

Just to humiliate us. Tbh with potential rain around they might enforce it if we’re bowled out cheaply. Sorry, when were bowled out cheaply.

maybe, might get a draw though if root lasts long enough twice.

once he goes they will fall like nine pins.
