Ted Dexter has passed away. Made his England debut in 1958. Saw him play a couple of times in the mid ;60s. Very exciting batsman to watch.

Former England and Sussex captain Ted Dexter has died aged 86.
Nicknamed 'Lord Ted', Dexter was an aggressive batsman and useful seam bowler who played 62 Tests for England and was captain between 1961-1964.
He led Sussex to victory in the first two editions of the limited-overs Gillette Cup and went on to make a surprise two-Test comeback in 1968.
In a statement, the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) described Dexter as "one of England's greatest ever cricketers".
"He was captain in 30 of his 62 Test matches and played the game with the same sense of adventure and fun that captures much of the story of his remarkable life."
The statement added that Dexter passed away peacefully in the Compton Hospice in Wolverhampton at midday on Wednesday, 25 August, surrounded by his family.

Former England striker and Tottenham's record goalscorer Jimmy Greaves has died at the age of 81.
Greaves began his career with Chelsea before spells at AC Milan, Spurs and West Ham.
He scored 44 goals in 57 games for England and was a member of the 1966 World Cup-winning squad.
He holds the record for most goals in the English top flight with 357, and scored 266 in 379 matches for Tottenham.
Greaves' 41 goals in 1960-61 remains a record in a season for Chelsea, and he also holds the Spurs record with 37 in 1962-63.
A Tottenham statement read: "We are extremely saddened to learn of the passing of the great Jimmy Greaves, not just Tottenham Hotspur's record goalscorer but the finest marksman this country has ever seen.

His family said he died "peacefully in his sleep, after a long battle with cancer".
Co-star Sir David Jason paid tribute to Challis as a "a wonderful actor" and "a gentleman in the true sense of the word".
His character - unscrupulous second-hand car dealer Terrance Aubrey Boyce - was a firm favourite with comedy fans.

Sillett managed the Sky Blues between 1986-90 and was at the helm when the club beat Tottenham 3-2 in the final at Wembley for their first major trophy.
As a full-back, he began his career as a player at Chelsea and made more than 100 appearances for the club after making his debut in 1957.
He played for Coventry and Plymouth Argyle before moving into management.

Sidney Poitier, the first black man to win a best actor Oscar, has died at 94.
The Hollywood star's death was confirmed to the BBC by the office of Fred Mitchell, the Bahamas' minister of foreign affairs.
Poitier was a trailblazing actor and a respected humanitarian and diplomat. He won the Academy Award for best actor for Lilies of the Field in 1963.

Actor Gary Waldhorn, known for playing Councillor David Horton in TV sitcom The Vicar of Dibley, has died at 78.
Waldhorn was one of the mainstays of the hit comedy, playing the chairman of the parish council who often locked horns with Dawn French's vicar.
His other TV shows included 1980s and 90s favourites such as Brush Strokes, Lovejoy and Gallowglass.
Waldhorn also enjoyed an illustrious career in the theatre, including with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
He died on Monday, his son Josh said.
Loved the Vicar of Dibley.
