Nat Phillips says liverpool won’t stand in his way if an offer comes in and r wants to go for first team football. Can’t blame him. Guys good enough for mid table prem clubs and at 24 should be playing regularly to make himself a career.

Was vital for us last year no matter how good people think he is or isn’t, we wouldn’t have got CL football this year without him so good luck to the guy

In the end someone has to pony up.

The cheapskate types like west ham want to pretend they have zero cash having been handed a 60k stadium for othing with hardly any rent etc.

They'll be in trying to get lingard for 5mil and Phillip's for 50p.

My attitude to this is simple. If the fee isnt right then big nat can rot till summer. I see no need for us to fire sale.

Liverpool's manager says the Reds will not sign unvaccinated players next month as they represent a huge threat to the rest of their teammates, with the Reds squad all double-jabbed

I presume we will buy a new midfielder in the next 1-2 years but whoever we go for has to be able to be versatile enough to play DM and CM.

We were missing VVD, Thiago and Fabinho vs Spurs but I was only worried about Fabinho. Konate and Naby can deputise for VVD and Thiago but the gulf in quality between Fab and his deputy is just too great. We have no one in the team that comes remotely close to Fab and it's why we often look so open without him.

I'm not saying we need someone who is as good as Fabinho (although that would be amazing) but we need someone who can play that role to a half decent standard.

It's all about balance. Not one of the three that played v newcastle would stand in the middle and shore it up.

Spurs were a slightly better team and walked through us.

You are right we need to have the balance

We really missed the 'holding role' of Fabinho. Hope he is back before long.

He will be back for leeds.

Klopp has said the others had zero symptoms bar henderson who only had a cold so I fully expect a full team bar perhaps thiago on the 26th as their 10 days are up.
