I wouldn't go that far mate.

We all know trump started it with telling total porkies about the thing day 1 and then wandering about talking about bleaching people insides.

The politicisation of the thing was well in train and trump was on about doing nothing while 500 and 600k people died so his project light speed would magic it all away.

America overall is a total mess, but very closely followed by uk with boris the butcher.

When you catch your dodgy prime.minister in a covid scandal the benefits are huge.

It seems to me that boris has decided that to beat the latest scandal he is going to contrive a great patriotic effort to booster every person in Britain in a massive country wide effort (in england as the rest nobody cares about)

It is the equivilant of the best propaganda delivered by nazi germany to drive ear efforts.

Dont look at boris partying, no let's look at somehow in 2 days time england will beat (again nobody cares about scots, Welsh or northern ireland cost they dont vote tory enough) the record for vaccinations per day without the volunteers to administer 1million doses.

    Yesterday 400k were administered btw.

Another boris publicity stunt to distract but the benefits to people might be large so a happy accident as far as the buffoon is concerned.

Took the wife for her booster today and despite being a very small church hall they were accepting walk ins of any age which meant the place was rammed with only a small window open <doh>

tbh pissed me off as it was booked about 3 weeks ago as it was the only site i could see with both flat access and disabled parking so wasn't happy to in a room with people sitting 3-4 feet from each way .

PS the booking website has access filters but i can assure you they don't work as i got offerred a jab at a site which had parking , disabled parking etc etc .Now i knew this was bollocks as never mind disabled parking there is no parking at all <laugh> the filters on or off made no difference to the sites i was shown so i had to use google maps and street view to actually check .

The mrs (m) had her booster last week, I've now got mine booked for Friday. It seems really uncoordinated over here. Basically someone shouts when they've got some and then it's first come first serve.

In general if your body has been active with the first two vaccines then it stands to reason you ought to get a reaction for a couple days to this.

the risk over Christmas mate is minor compared to getting covid. its up to you, i don't know what you got originally nor your reaction to it.

remember you are a traitor to the country and boris personally if you don't back his great patriotic distraction so get your bloody booster.

I had a sore jaw after both jabs but no reaction after the booster ...... other than the obligatory sore arm.

I don't think you were supposed to chew them <ok>

Haven't heard of a sore jaw as a side effect yet.

you got az first though right? I think you mentioned that before. So the reaction should be different. I got pfizer all the way :) no reaction hardly at all. first one sore arm very very slightly but manned it out with no pain killers for the little bit of time and then the second was a breeze.

Time proved me right on AZ and Jansson. I also expected boosters to roll out better than this but it seems to me the resources were pulled form a lot of things hoping this would just go away on its own. we all knew before summer boosters were needed after 6 months 100% as the trial follow ups showed this exact thing.

sure the great patriotic effort means employers have to give us all time off if we book.

surely no employer would be a communist traitor to our great leader?

I haven't heard of anyone else having a sore jaw either and it surprised me but it was actually rather painful. I thought after the first jab it was just a coincidence but it happened 3 months later after the second jab too so it was obviously a minor side effect. No soreness after the booster though. My son explained (I think mito did too actually) that there are glands in your neck and jaw that could react to the vaccine. Some people have had pain in the glands in their armpits.

If you checked it out you could probably get a walk-in somewhere, like a local pharmacy.
