Being honest, Wilks got lucky. It wasn't even a great shot, straight down the middle at the keeper. I'd guess he was aiming for a corner. It was a howler from their keeper.
Other than that fortuitous strike, he did next to **** all yet again. His touch and passing was for the most part dreadful. Magennis was working his rocks off once again, great shift including helping out the defence. Wilks's work ethic was non-existent. I still believe there's a player in there (as the saying goes) but god knows what's happening with him.
Maybe McCann's told him that he's our Messi and doesn't have to graft; let the others do the work and you just wait for your opportunities to strike? Possible?
You've obviously not seen Messi play if you think he doesn't graft. Also, Messi creates his own opportunities most of the time.

Firstly, a good entertaining game. First half we were excellent going forward, just lacking a finisher. A good finisher, Billy Sharp type we would have been 2 or 3 goals to the good.

2nd half they were the better side, we rode our luck at times, but the performance deserves a point from the game.

Baxter excellent again as was Greaves, Bernard was also good, apart from a couple of iffy moments, giving penalty decisions for the ref to make. McLoughlin apart from losing his marker for their goal was steady and dependable as usual.

Midfield again battled hard and gave as good as they got. Longman apart from giving the ball away to Swift for their goal chance did okay. KLP looks our biggest threat, if he had been the position Wilk's found himself in, he may well have scored one or two. Magennis did a lot of hard work, and Wilk's IMO did have a bit better game than of late, still is wasteful with the ball at times.

All in all a good point increases our unbeaten run to 5 games, onward to Bristol City, let's hope we can maintain our unbeaten run with a win.

Looking at the full highlights (which are a fairer reflection than the short highlights), Wilks’ chance he blazed over wasn’t as clear cut as it seemed in real life. And his goal was even better. Yes the keeper messed up big time, but clever decision by Wilks. And the handball looked bang to rights. Can only think he got away with it because it came off the attacker’s head at very close quarters.

I thought Wilks’ disallowed goal in the first half was due to Magennis being offside when Honeyman crossed it in. Wilks looked on to me.

Just thought I'd point out that their goal came late in the 2nd or in the 3rd minute of the 1 minute of extra time. Apart from that the ref was ok!

a well deserved point for us yesterday at the soulless select leasing stadium the atmosphere was totally shocking from the home fan's,

Cracking point gromit
Having watched Honey recently it’s noticeable he’s not up to 90mibs of energy yet he was out all summer and longer and it will take 2-3 more games for him to be as effective second half as he is first.
Does anyone think we are better playing a more positive open style but always liable to let one in - it’s fine if we can convert the chances we get and at least score first , then when they attack we can counter
