I remember the B&Q one like it was yesterday...watched from 5th Ave primary school playing fields.

couldnt resist that. it was burnsy who reported the fire had spread and cars were exploding.
i didnt believe that. and i dont believe it was the plastics factory either. i fully expect them to find
a badly burnt gyppo with a lighter in his hand surrounded by twin and earth.

Any cars going up will be the ones in the car park at the factory. It looks fairly apocalyptic, reports are everyone got out of the factory ok, so thats something.

yeah i looked on google street view at the factory, saw the car park full of cars and imagined not many of those would have been cleared in the event of a fire.

Apparently after midnight that the A63 west will be re-opened.... People right behind it will have been trapped there for close on 7 hours.... its a ridiculous road, no hard shoulder, so no way for emergency services or recover to get there quickly...

Yes it has just a bit...
 
There is 14 engines on site plus hazmet units and other specialists.
All workforce escaped safely. No showroom has been involved.
