KLP
Honeyman
Longman

Potter was by far and away the best player of the 22/21 on the pitch today. Outstanding. Closely followed by Honeyman.
Their number 18 was really a pest and tidy with it I think almost matched KLP

Greaves by a mile.
KLP..but must ask where he has been for the last couple of months.
Longman.

Baxter ..special mention ..solid performance.
He's been on the left wing, cutting inside and into trouble at every opportunity, v predictable on the left, whereas on the right today he was going both ways and causing all sorts of problems

edit...I also think his approach on the left is hampered by just how well Elder gets forward because he's always busting his ass to over lap meaning KLP's just taking up the same space by trying to go outside

Surprising McCoughlin isn't getting more mentions. In retrospect, maybe should have been in my 3. Considering he's been behind 3 in the pecking order, and previously struggled to get a look in, he's been very competent and looked very assured. All 3 also seem comfortable with the ball, and willing to bring it out, not just 'stoppers' (add Greaves to that), which is good.

Not sure when McLoughlin's contract ends, but I'd say he is itching for regular football at Championship level - its the only way he will ever get consideration by ROI for international selection...the years are beginning to slip by for him.

McLoughlin has improved a bit as he used to look like he’d got a mistake in him any time he had the ball. He is also the most one footed player I’ve seen for a very long time.
