The commentators on QPR + thought that yellow meant Dickie will miss a game.I thought the graphic on the tv said it was his 4th yellow card but I could be wrong

The stats confirm that though at our best we looked the better team, Luton had double the shots and double the shots on target. Lucky for us they were wasteful and we were effective scoring from our only 2 shots on goal. If Dieng hadn't made that early great save and Barbet helped out with his following tackle it could have been a very different game. Though we played so well at times, last night we didn't create many chances, I think because there was little service from out wide with Albert's crossing not at his normal standard and Wallace understandably looking a bit rusty. Great result for us when again we weren't at our very best.
I don't know where those stats come from but their shots on target must have been wildly over estimated.
Time after time they shot to row Z!
I thought they were the poorest team I've seen at HQ this season.
Having read most of this thread I'm surprised at the positive comments about their play. Maybe I need new specs?!

Thanks. Glad it's not just me, to some degree at least.Yeah, I do think some are over doing their praise for Luton.
Hard working, physical and exploited our formation's now, well advertised wide open spaces well.
Lively up front, but nothing special.
The stats are from the BBC but saw the same or similar on QPR+ after the game. We only had 2 shots on target, our goals, they had only 4. We had 8 shots, they had 16.I don't know where those stats come from but their shots on target must have been wildly over estimated.

Let me start by saying I thoroughly enjoyed my Friday evening for once. Decent size, raucous crowd including a very good turnout from Luton despite them being subject to 1980's style policing for some reason. Two goals exactly when we needed them which meant we could enjoy things for once rather than being in a constant panic. A really excellent first half hour from Chair and Wallace in particular although both faded in the second half. And a signature Austin goal when you might well have thought we would never see one again given his painful lack of pace and stamina these days.
But I'm still going to have a little moan:
1) I really can't fathom why we don't go for the jugular when we have a comfortable lead rather than playing keep ball. Luton were all over the shop after our second goal and we could easily have helped ourselves to several more with through balls rather than crab passes.
2) Much as Dickie gave another standout performance I thought his booking was completely dumb. 89 minutes gone, a 2-0 lead, cover from other defenders and you needing one more yellow for a suspension just days before the slate is wiped clean again. I know Warburton isn't that type of manager but there are those who would dock his wages for that kind of stupidity.

Unfortunately I believe they were. Tit for tat and some poor Rangers fan will cop it in the away game. Hopefully the Luton fan makes a full recoveryWhat's this about some poor bloke being critical in hospital after being found near the stadium last night with a serious head injury?
Hope none of our fans were involved/responsible.

Don't look good ! The amount of old bill there were you'd have thought this could've been prevented. Sad that there's still ****ing mutants who go to watch the beautiful game with nothing else on their tiny minds but to cave someone else's head in. Don't care which team they supposedly support the maggots should be banged up !
A mate of mine who was there heard that they'd been trouble after the game but didn't know where and who was involved, this is obviously it. As if there ain't enough **** in the world to worry about , you have to worry about if your ever gonna get home from a football match again. I thought these sad days were long gone but obviously not. It's supposed to be a fun activity ffs, just makes me so depressedThis is very bad.
I don't want that sort of thing near our beloved club.
Hoping against hope that not done by a QPR fan.
The presence of fully kitted riot police and the way we were segregated before the game made me wonder if the police had some intelligence about trouble before the game??
Trust me I've met those sort of half heads on many occasions, but it doesn't mean our so called fans have to lower themselves to the same level. Those days should've long goneHe might have been one of their twats who came down for a barney and lost.
If he was just a football fan who was in the wrong place ...
My money is on the first alternative.
I have, with a lot of experience, no respect for Luton hoolgans.
55 years old - came down for a fight!
