The article reads like it's a routine thing they do. But you never know......

I don't think Giles is Prem standard but that could be a reflection on the players he is involved with.

Can't see Wolves wanting him back just yet.

In saying that, if we brought both Murphy and Whyte back then we wouldn't need Giles any more <whistle>

Seem to remember us doing it once or twice in the past.
Not something I'd want, but outside our control.

Would like Winttle and Watters back though.

Could call Wintle back to assess during the international break, but not Watters nor Whyte who are on loan to lower tier clubs with no break.

I know he's injured, but I purposely didn't mention the other possibility - Murphy at Preston. <doh>

Can’t see Giles threatening even the bench at Molineux.

Ps There’s a thread on this running parallel.

I was indeed being slightly mischievous Will.

In truth I'd consider Whyte and Wintle but think Watters would benefit more from staying out on loan at this stage and ANY help we get in paying Murphy's wages is welcome.
Nothing against the lad but I think it's fair to say that he's never going to prove to be a worthwhile signing now sadly.

If we were able to bring in one or two experienced heads in January it may then also be worthwhile trying to loan out one or two of the young uns to carry on their education.
I always recall Earnie talking about his loan at Greenock Morton and how beneficial that was in his development.

What we don't know is how good the players on loan are when given the chance to play in a completely different style. So far, we've only seen them playing to a less than creative method. As I mentioned in a different thread, I hope that someone with SM's methods in mind, is keeping an eye on them.
