Hes the perfect manager for where we are now. No top manager would take the job at this stage. I think he will improve the current squad enough to keep us up. Get a top DOF in and add some quality he can push us up the league. We can start thinking about a top manager once we have stability further up the league in 2 or 3 years. Really hope the fan base can get behind Eddie and they dont forget that hes working with an absolute mess that Bruce left so it wont be an overnight success.

I’m hoping he can tap into that extra 10-20% that a lot of players lost under Bruce.
Honestly the squad we have is better than where we are now and more than capable of winning games.
I’m 100% behind him. Win lose or draw. As long as we see progress between now and the end of the season it makes no difference to me if ee get relegated.
He got the job because he was the candidate in interview who specifically spoke about getting the best out of the current players. I can only presume a few other managers wanted to focus on recruitment in January.
Imo of course we need 3 or 4 players for us to be a serious squad, but thats such a negative approach.
We do and a team in the position we are in needs a few new additions. We have been under recruited for years. There’s a lot of players here that where in the promotion push.
And a lot of them have regressed.
I can’t think of many players who have improved in the last couple of years.
I think he previously said something negative about what they've been doing but didn't want to be seen as slagging off Bruce.
He’s not had it easy but there is a player in there and your quite right he is finding his feet.
I think he might flourish under Howe.
Definitely... I wish people would get of his back.. The lad got Bruced and he's never given up.
Let's hope he can play on a side that's coached properly
I actually think people are starting to see a settled player in there. I used to think he was useless but lately well actually for about 12 months he’s been good.
He’s not been playing in a good team and he’s having to do a lot of carry work like others because of the mechanics of our old system.
Put square pegs in round holes and they don’t fit.
I think he’s the one who might flourish under Howe. Howe will shorten the gap between defence and midfield allowing for players like Joe to do what they do best.
Miggy and ASM come into this category.
Just watching the training videos today makes me confident in a shift in player mentality.
It won’t take much to get some results.
He’s definitely improving a lot. Changed the game on Sunday I thought. A bit of a jigsaw like Miggy still mind.
