Probably best to forget today and move on as it might be the toughest game of the season. Still only 3 points off 6th place so some good results after the international break could see us pushing for that.
STOP PRESS. In the wake of Cardiff City's first win since the Romans sailed up the River Usk, , ( well, it seems that long since they last won ), a commemorative stamp has already been commissioned by the Welsh Government. An open top bus parade will take place at a date yet to be confirmed. The Red Arrows have been directed by mrs. windsor to fly over Legoland. Her eldest son will pilot the lead 'plane. It will trail a 50 foot image of Mick McCarthy, who has already claimed the victory as proof positive that he really WAS the man for the job. More to follow on this breaking story.
One to forget today, we are a team in transition, but the gaffer has to address the sloppy lazy, and downright stupid passing at the back, yes keep the ball and pass out from the back, but don't be lazy and cowardly Naughton, and put your keeper in the firing line, and he wasn't the only one, god we gifted the top team some goals today.....................
Just got back two traffic closures near Newport and Pyle coming back.....typical when there oare sporting events...anyway good day trip today apart from most of the game.....for the last sixty minutes lazy, sloppy, untidy but still maintained hua higher possession than the winners who I thought were gifted the goals rather than creating them themselves. Yet again the third game seems to be a step too far for the players picked but he is the manager and on his head be it. Good support but a lot of unruly youngsters going away now.....
It was a rather bizarre performance really. Half of the brief highlights I watched was us noncing about at the back and them taking the ball off us (and scoring). Bournemouth's biggest win of the season! None of us expected that. Just have to chalk this one down to experience and move on.
