De Gea should have done better, given how acute the angle was, but he probably (rightly) expected Shaw to track Bernardo’s run or attempt to clear it. I can’t believe he just did nothing <laugh>

Ive never understood the fuss with DDG, makes a decent save here and there but too many mistakes and not enough presence.

The fact he isn't first choice for Spain anymore underlines that, while he's a good keeper, he's never been a great keeper

I think he was great for a while, but unlike Hugo, hasn’t had the same renaissance later in his career after a few speedbumps.
